HCL Launches India’s First Eco-Friendly HCL ME-40 Notebook
HCL has released a new HCL ME-40 Notebook, claimed to be India’s first ever eco-friendly Notebook PC made completely from materials free of harmful Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC).
Earlier HCL had introduced HCL ME-45 Series notebook PCs that partially contained PVC and were not deemed as fully eco-friendly as new HCL ME-40 series of notebook PCs. PVC is very difficult to recycle and is believed to contain toxic effects.
