Toshiba Satellite M500 Notebook Launched in India
Toshiba has today announced the launch of its new stylish Toshiba Satellite M500 notebook in India which is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6500 and it features integrated 3G broadband connectivity, LED backlit keyboard and sports 14.1-inch widescreen display.
Sporting an ultra-lightweight Glossy Mercury Silver Chasis with light gray color IMR Finish, the new Toshiba Satellite M500 series notebook is powered by 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6500, with 2-MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB and it features Intel 965GM Express Chipset motherboard, 4-GB of DDR2 (667 MHz) SDRAM (max 4-GB in 2 slots).
Toshiba Satellite M500 also features a 320-GB of Serial ATA (SATA) 5400 rpm 2.5-inch hard drive powered by a new 3D Motion Sensor with shock absorber technology to shut it off in case of free fall, and internal 8x DVD SuperMulti Double Layer writer 8.5 GB capacity (DVD-RW/RAM).
MSI Launches CX700 and CR700 ‘Classic’ Series of Notebook
MSI, has today announced the launch of its new CX700 and CR700 ‘Classic’ series notebook PCs powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processors and featuring 17.3-inch display.
These notebooks are MSI’s addition to its recently announced ‘Classic’ series notebook models which includes CR400 with 14-inch, CX600 with 16-inch and CR-600 with 16-inch displays and company aims to target these new 17.3-inch display models specifically mainstream PC users.

Saksham Launches Audio Book Reader
The Samadrishti Kshamata Vikas Avam Anusandhan Mandal (SAKSHAM), a Nagpur based charitable organization that works for the visually impaired community, has launched its first ever Audio Book Reader, a pocket-sized device that enable visually impaired students to read audio books with much more ease.
The Audio Book Reader (ABR) is equipped with microSD expandable memory card of same kind used in cell phones and digital cameras, that allows maximum of 2-GB of storage.
ABR’s 2-GB storage capacity allows upto 60 hours of audio contents which means that it can record the entire syllabus of Std X or Std XII.
