Datawind Corp, a Canadian wireless Web access gadget manufacturer, has introduced its new product Pocket-Surfer in India. Pocket-Surfer is a tiny Bluetooth enabled mobile Web access device which Datawind claims to provide the world’s fastest mobile Internet access.
Being able to connect directly to local wireless GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) network of mobile phone service provider, the Pocket-Surfer provides near desktop or laptop quality web surfing experience to users in their palm without having to connecting to a cellular phone or plugging into a landline modem or routers.
Users now have the power to access the web anywhere at anytime, using the technology they desired based on cost and device needs.
Microsoft Offers Windows Live Messanger Beta with VoIP
Microsoft declared that company is extending its VoIP enabled chat service to cover 11 more countries next week as it made its Windows Live Messenger Beta available for download today.
The move comes a week after Skype announced its latest VoIP enabled popular software, and as Microsoft overhauls its MSN service with scores of so called live objects.
In USA, Microsoft tie-up with US phone giant Verizon to enable users make calls to cell phones and traditional landlines for a few pennies a minute. Customers in the US, UK, Germany, France and Spain are already able to access the service, with Austria, Belgium, Finland, Iceland, Italy and the Netherlands coming on next week.

Nokia Unveils E50 – Targeted At Mass Market
Nokia has unveiled a new small mobile phone, the latest in its Nokia E series business range, the Nokia E50, targeted at a mass market of business users in what is seen as its attempt o grab a bigger share of that lucrative segment of the industry.
The new Nokia E50 mobile phone is aimed at both business and leisure use and it comes with pre-installed business applications, an MP3 player, and an optional 1.3 mega pixel camera. It supports corporate mobile e-mail solutions and GSM networks.
The E50, Nokia’s 18th new phone model this year, is expected to begin hitting the stores before the end of June, with volume sales starting in the third quarter, Nokia said.
