Logitech QuickCam Deluxe Webcam
Logitech has recently launched in India the Logitech QuickCam Deluxe Webcam for notebook PCs which features built-in microphone and a resolution of standard VGA ie 640 x 480 with upto 15 frames per second video capturing.
The Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Deluxe is equipped with Logitech’s unique intelligent-face-tracking technology that keeps you in the picture without the distracting image jumps that plague other cameras.
The QuickCam Deluxe also allows still picture shooting at 1.3 mexapixels with manual focus option.
The device is fully compatible with popular IMs such as MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), Yahoo! Messenger, and Windows Messenger. It can also be used in any application including Skype and Sound Recorder.
Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000 and VX-3000
Microsoft has recently launched two new webcams, the LifeCam VX-6000 and LifeCam VX-3000 featuring a Live call button, which enable the users to connect with a buddy in his contact list with a single click.
The new LifeCam VX-6000 and the LifeCam VX-3000, according to Microsoft, are the next-generation Webcams are especially optimized for use with Windows Live Messenger. The new LifeCam VX-6000 and the LifeCam VX-3000 include a number of unique features, which include:
- Windows Live Call Button which is located at the top of each webcam brings up a list of buddies who are currently online and allows you to quickly place a video call.
- Buddy Picker is a tool that allows users to see and select from current online buddies
- LifeCam Dashboard which has been built right into the new Windows Live Messenger software provides easy access to controls such as pan, tilt and zoom
- One-touch blogging feature allows users to post LifeCam pictures directly into their Windows Live Space blogs.
