HP Launch Pavilion DV2025TU Notebook PC
Hewlett Packard India, today launched, its global brand of premium HP Pavilion notebook PC, the HP Pavilion DV2025TU, featuring Intel Centrino Due Mobile Technology, and is equipped with HP’s Imprint Finish Technology.
HP claims that the new molding and imprint technique used for designing HP Pavilion DV2025TU notebook PC had been created after conducting through market research in three continents to understand personal design preferences for diverse user groups.
HP’s Imprint finish incorporates an advanced molding technique produced using Nissha Film Products.
HP Pavilion DV2025TU notebook is also the very first notebook PC to features ‘capacitive’ touch technology for accessing the audio, launch buttons, and volume controls. By just touching, tapping or swiping these backlit media launch buttons in a very similar manner as on a touch pad, user can have direct access to entertainment objects.
Fujitsu LifeBook P7120 Notebook PC
Fujitsu-Siemens has recently introduced their new ultra slim notebook PC, LifeBook P7120 in India. The LifeBook P7120 weighs 1.38 kgs and is equipped with Pentium M 1.2 GHz processor and a 10.6-inch widescreen XWGA display.
The LifeBook P7120 comes with many advanced features such as wireless connectivity, biometric security, long battery life, and Bluetooth support.
The LifeBook P7120 comes with fingerprint security as standard. The biometric fingerprint sensor is tied to the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), which acts as a hardware vault for passwords and encrypted keys.
In addition it also sports wireless connectivity, long battery life of up to 11.5 hours (with two batteries), and Bluetooth support.

Sahara Computers introduced their Windows XP based slate-type Tablet PC, NB7630-N7 in the early 2006. The new NB7630-N7 tablet PC is powered by Intel Pentium M Dothan 1.7-GHz processor and a USB pluggable 8x dual layer DVD burner.
The compact Wi-Fi enabled Sahara NB7630-N7 Tablet PC is equipped with a 12.1-inch TFT display that offers full 180 degree rotation ideally suited for presentation purposes, battery life of about four hours and weighs just about 2.5 Kg.

Toshiba Qosmio F20 Multimedia Notebook With DVD Writer
Toshiba, Japan’s leading notebook PC manufacturer, has recently lauched its multimedia notebook, Qosmino F20, with Intel Centrino Mobile technology with an Intel Pentium M processor 750 and featuring Intel PRO/Wireless (802.11b/g) for easy wireless connectivity to the Internet.
Toshiba Qosmio F20 notebook is a four-in-one digital notebook featuring a 450NIT (2lamps) High Luminance Clear SuperView 15.4-inch wide-screen display capably of 1,280 x 800 pixels of resolution, down from G20’s 17-inch 1,440 x 900-pixel resolution. ASUS Unveils Z92T AMD Turion 64 X2 Based Notebook PC

$100 OLPC Laptop Advances Closer To Launch
Nicholas Negroponte, cofounder of MIT’s Media Lab and head of the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) nonprofit organization, said that the laptop, originally estimated to cost $100, would probably cost closer to $135 to $140 by the time it is actually launched.
The research project at the MIT Media Lab had a plan for getting $100 laptops in the hands of millions of children in the developing and underdeveloped world. India is one of the seven countries world-wide selected for the launch of the project, scheduled for April next year.
One notable feature is a hand crank for providing power in places where electricity is undependable or unavailable.
The rugged, 2-pound laptop will be able to make its price goal, Negroponte said, not only by emphasizing essentials but also by eliminating sales and marketing costs that commercial computers have.

HP Introduces New Range of Notebook Computers
Hewlett-Packard India introduced new range of notebook computers for Indian market with enhanced security features that include fingerprint identification system.
The new HP notebook computers are equipped with a high security lock mechanism based on a fingertip identification system developed by company to allow access to users on their fingerprint matches against the pre-configured identification database already stored in the machine.
“The latest offerings would further strengthen the business notebook portfolio and comes with a set of personalised features that will help users to protect their crucial data,” HP India Vice President Ravi Swaminathan said.
The new HP high security notebook computers are priced between Rs 80,000 to Rs 1,20,000 based on various hardware configurations.
Sony Unveils VAIO VGN-SZ18GP Notebook PC
