Strontium DDR3 RAM Modules Launched
Strontium Technology, Singapore has introduced their DDR3 RAM modules for notebooks and desktops for the Indian market. The high speed DDR3 RAM modules are available in 1333 MHz and 1066 MHz speeds as 240 pin UDIMMs and 204 pin SODIMMs in 1GB and 2GB storage spaces.
Company claims that the new high speed DDR3 memory modules would meet demands of enthusiasts and gamers looking for ever higher performance at more efficient power consumption parameters.
Transcend 32-GB 133x Compact Flash Memory Card
Transcend has announced Transcend 32-GB 133x Compact Flash memory card in India which features dual channel flash interface, low power consumption, built-in Error Correction Code and comes with lifetime warranty.
Till now, Transcend only offered upto 16-GB capacity flash memory cards but growing consumer demand for larger capacity, high-speed memory cards seems to have made Transcend extended its line of flash memory cards.
The new Transcend 32-GB133x CompactFlash memory card also feature built-in Error Correction Code (ECC), that automatically detects and corrects memory related errors during data transfer preventing the possibile data corruption.
Kingston DDR2 HyperX RAM
Kingston Technology has started offering new faster DDR2 HyperX memory modules with 1.150 GHz and 1.200 GHz speed.
According to a press release by company, the Kingston HyperX DDR2 RAM chip is 100 per cent production-tested at full frequency specifications and it’s new high frequency HyperX DDR2 9600’s (1.200 GHz) and 9200’s (1.150 GHz), in combination with AMD processors and chipsets take gaming to new levels of performance.
HyperX DDR2 memory, claimed to be the next-generation evolution of DDR memory technology, offers faster speeds, lower latencies, higher data bandwidths and lower power consumption. HyperX is available in single and dual channel memory kits.
Kingston FB-DIMM Memory
Kingston Technology has earlier this month announced expansion its Fully Buffered DIMM (FB-DIMM) memory modules with the inclusion of new DDR2 667-MHz speeds to support Intel-based servers and workstation PCs.
The Kingston FB-DIMM memory modules are to be used alongside new dual-core Intel Xeon processor-based servers and Intel 5000 series chipsets / motherboards.
The Fully Buffered DIMM (FB-DIMM) memory modules are high-speed, high-density memory solution for high powered workstations and server platforms which offer memory flexibility and more expansion options.
