We have seen a flurry of QWERTY mobiles over last 6 months which are very cheap and clad deceptively similar looks of leading QWERTY smartphones or are near clone of specialized Blackberry devices.
These handsets should not be confused with specialized Smartphones from the leading brandsand they are certainly not Smartphones in any sense either, though still manage to offer quite a few advance features like Dual-SIM, FM Radio, Media Player, GPRS/EDGE connectivity and convenient texting functionality at almost ridiculous price in comparison to high-end Smartphones.
Often referred as China Mobiles, these handsets are aimed at budget conscious users who are frequent texters and hence comes equipped with full QWERTY keypad to provide users convenience and ease of typing long texts in SMS, Social Networking or Chatting.

The Fly Mobile announced a very economical entry-level BlackBerry look alike B430DS GSM mobile phone in the Indian that boasts of dual SIM support, built-in direct and easy acces to popular social networking sites and it features a full QWERTY fixed keypad.

Micromax announced its latest Ezpad Q5 Mobile Phone that is Dual-SIM capable and comes equipped with Full QWERTY Keypad with Track Ball.
