Both the Asha 205 single SIM and double SIM handset comes equipped with a new sharing technology from Nokia termed as “SLAM” that is a new way to instantly send files over Bluetooth to the nearby compatible device doing away with the customary paring of the two devices. The SLAM allows sending files directly to the closest device after confirmation with the receiver. Moreover, the receiving device doesn’t need to have SLAM technology, and it doesn’t even need to be a handset from Nokia either.

The new Nokia Asha 205 mobile with SLAM technology will be available for US $62 or about Rs. 3,500 (for single SIM?) in next few months.
