Intex Launched i-Tab – 8-inch Android Powered Low Cost Tablet

Intex Technologies has announced the launch of their latest low cost Intex i-Tab tablet that features a 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display and is powered by Android v2.3 Gingerbread operating system.


The Intex i-Tab is powered by 1-GHz Cortex A8 processor and includes 512-MB RAM in addition to 8GB internal storage and microSD card supporting up to 32GB expandable storage. The device comes with 4GB external microSD card free.

The Intex i-Tab tablet features a larger 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 800×480 pixel resolution and it has VGA resolution front-facing camera for video calling over 3G or WiFi.

For data connectivity, Intex i-Tab offers built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB dongle based 3G connectivity and features USB 2.0 port for wired connectivity.

The tablet also features built-in 360 degree G-Sensor and built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support and comes bundled with Google Maps 6.0 application for maps and locations.

The i-Tab comes with complete Google app suite and also includes Word, Excel and Power Point viewing tools, Adobe PDF reader, few games and access to Android Market (now renamed as Google Play) allowing access to over 200,000 free and paid apps.
