Sony Launches HDR-PJ50 Projector Handycam in India; Offers Full 1080p HD Recording

Sony has launched in India its new Projector Handycam HDR-PJ50 that is capable of recording full 1080p HD video and features a built-in high contrast Pico projector that is capable of projecting the recorded contents (video/still pictures) on walls or ceilings or infact on any flat surface in full colors.

The new Sony Projector Handycam HDR-PJ50 features 29.8 mm wide angle Sony G lens, internal 220GB hard disk drive and comes with in-built high contrast projector that can project up to 60 degree diagonal image on any flat surface without using any additional plug-in wires, cables, computer or television.

Featuring 1/4-inch Exmor R CMOS Sensor, the Sony Projector Handycam HDR-PJ50 also includes Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and Clear Phase stereo speakers with S-Master digital amplifier technology that produces true-to-life sound, for perfect playback experiences.

A 29.8mm wide-angle Sony G Lens on the Handycam HDR-PJ50 enables users full 1080p HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) video recording and with the 12x Optical Zoom, user can enjoy close-ups on video capture and the additional 17x extended zoom can offer even greater details.

The Sony Projector Handycam features 3.0-inch 230K dots Clear Photo LCD Plus 16:9, Touch Panel display for captured content playback and options selection and can also shoot still picture in 7.1-mega pixel resolution having maximum 3072 x 2304 pixels in 4:3 aspect ratio.

The handycam also features Optical Steady Shot technology with Active Mode that helps  resulting in remarkably less impact on the video captured of shaky and wobbly movements.

The anti-shake technology on the Sony Handycam HDR-PJ50 compensates for camera shake to help users get sharper videos.
