Fujitsu has recently announced the launch of its new Fujitsu Lifebook TH40 Convertible Tablet PC that features 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 pixel resolution multi-touch display and is powered by standard Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
Weighing over a KG, the new Fujitsu Lifebook TH40 tablet features a slide-out full keyboard like on a laptop or netbook in addition to optical trackball and the device gets folded in form of a tablet PC.
The Fujitsu Lifebook TH40 is powered by low power consuming Intel ATOM Z670 processor running at 1.5 GHz speed and basic hardware includes 1GB DDR3 RAM, a 120GB 5400 rpm 2.5-inch hard disk drive and comes equipped with WiFi 802.11b/g/N wireless LAN, and Bluetooth 3.0 for wireless connectivity.
Only 17.4mm thick including the slide-out keyboard, the new Fujitsu TH40 tablet features 10.1-inch multi-touch display having 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and is powered by standard Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
Other hardware features of Fujitsu TH40 Tablet includes two USB 2.0 ports, SD memory card slot, HDMI digital out port and 0.3 megapixel webcam which can also be used for video calling over WiFi. The tablet is claimed to offer up to 6-hrs battery backup.
Price: The Fujitsu Lifebook TH40 convertible tablet PC is expected to be available in coming June 2011 for an estimated US $990 or about Rs. 44,550 (approx.).
