HTC Wildfire S Android Smartphone Announced; Features 600 MHz Processor and 3.2-inch Display

HTC has announced its upgraded version of Wildfire smartphone, the HTC Wildfire S Smartphone which is powered by 600 MHz processor and is based on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and includes HTC Sense user interface that makes the phones work in a more simple and natural way.

Having introduced the world’s first 4G smartphone in 2008, and the world’s first 4G Android smartphone in 2010, HTC’s new Wildfire S smartphone is successor to the HTC Wildfire smartphone and it features a stunning, contoured body that highlights the internal hardware components of the device.

Measuring 101.3 x 59.4 x 12.4 mm, the new HTC Wildfire S Android smartphone is quad-band 2G and dual-band 3G (900/2100) network ready device that has a 3.2-inch HVGA 320 x 480 pixel 256K colors TFT Capacitive touchscreen display, and is equipped with 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM along with microSD card slot offering up to 32GB expandable memory.

Powered by 600 MHz Qualcomm processor the HTC Wildfire S smartphone features Accelerometer sensor, and Proximity sensor and is based on Android 2.2 Froyo operating system for mobile devices with the next-generation HTC Sense touchscreen user interface with cloud services.

The HTC Wildfire S smartphone features a single 5.0 megapixel auto-focus rear facing digital camera with 2592 x 1944 pixels still picture resolution, geo-tagging, face-detection and built-in LED flash also allowing users record video is 420i resolution.
