MSI has announced in India MSI WindPad 100W Tablet that is India’s first Windows 7 platform based Tablet that features 10.1-inch multi-touch display and is powered by Intel Menlow Z530 processor.
The Windows powered MSI WindPad 100W tablet also offers advanced functions such as G-Sensor gravity detection, which protects the internal hardware in case the unit is dropped, an ALS light sensor which adjusts screen brightness according to the surrounding light source, and Wi-Fi.
MSI WindPad 100W Tablet weighing in at just 800 gms with battery and features the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, Accelerometer sensor for auto screen rotation, light sensor for auto adjust screen brightness and Gravity sensor.
The WindPad 100W Tablet features a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 pixel screen that supports multi-touch control and is powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Mobile Menlow Z530 processor and includes 32GB solid state hard drive (SSD).
Running Windows 7 Home Premium, the MSI WindPad 100W Tablet packs 2GB DDR II SDRAM, dual digital cameras including a front-facing digital camera for video calling, and offers a complete array of I/O ports that includes one full size USB port, one mini HDMI digital out port, and a SD memory card reader.
Measures 274x173x18.5 mm and weighs just under 800 gms with battery, the MSI WindPad 100W Tablet is capable of delivering up to 6 hours of battery backup and also features WiFi 802.11b/g/N wireless LAN connectivity.
Running MSI’s WindTouch user interface over Windows 7 home premium OS, the MSI WindTab 100W comes preloaded with whole lots of applications that includes EasyFace, EasyView, and Taskbar Magnifier etc.
