Motorola has today officially announced in India the launch of its another smartphone, the Motorola DEFY Smartphone that is a dust proof and water resistant ruggedized smartphone powered by Google’s somewhat outdated Android v2.1 (Eclair) OS and features enhanced MOTOBLUR UI which makes it even easier to manage emails, messages and social updates in one easy place.

Priced for Rs. 18,500, the new Motorola DEFY smartphone is a slim, pocketable Android v2.1 (Eclair) powered smartphone that comes equipped with advanced Web-browsing capabilities and a 3.7-inch high-resolution touch screen display that provides edge to edge views of your favorite photos, videos and websites.

The Motorola DEFY Android Smartphone is dust proof and water resistant protecting the smartphone from life’s little challenges like a sudden rain shower, spilt drink, or dropping it accidentally in the sand.
