Techcom India, a consumer electronics brand in India, has on announced today its entry into the Indian mobile handset market with launch of seven entry-level to mid-range mobile phone models – T21, T31, T33, T51, T55, T60 and TQ21 at an event in New Delhi.

“The handsets were designed with an eye on mass in urban and semi-urban areas. We will announce various promotional offers in the next six months for brand-building,” said Sandeep Kedia, Director – Mobile Phone Division, Techcom, at the launch press conference.
“Through over 100 distributors and almost 5000 retailers in India, Techcom will sell phones in the range of Rs 1,500 to Rs 4,000 currently. With a pan India presence of our offices and distributors, we hope to penetrate the Indian mobile market extensively in the next six months,” he added.
The company at an press conference also launched seven entry and mid level handsets, models targeted at the youth in urban and semi-urban cities. The models which includes T21, T31, T33, T51, T55, T60 and TQ21 are all Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) capable handsets and offers a mix of display size and battery backup. One of the handset also offers full QWERTY keypad.

Price and Availability
Techcom has not revealed prices of individual models but at the launch indicated that these 7 mobile phones are priced between Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 4,000 (perhaps for TQ21 model).
