Garmin-Asus A10 GPS Enabled Smartphone Launched in India, Includes 5MP Camera and 3G Support

Garmin-Asus has launched its first Android powered Navigation smartphone to be launched in India, the Garmin-Asus A10 Smartphone that is powered by Android v2.1 Eclair operating system offering full multi-tasking capabilities and is packed with some unique features to help users access their applications faster and easier.


Interestingly, Garmin-Asus’s earlier launched Garmin-Asus Nuvifone M10 GPS Device/Smartphone was powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system and that appeared more a dedicated GPS based navigational device than smartphone.

The much anticipated Garmin Asus A10 smartphone is the first Android powered Navigation smartphone to be launched in India and is just second handset (first being Nuvifone M10) featuring Smart3 phone encompassing a phone, powerful internal GPS navigation device & social media tool, all packed in one slim, ergonomic and stylish package. “Smart3” aptly describe the M10 as the gateway to Smart Phone, Smart Navigation & Smart Lifestyle.

The Garmin-Asus A10 smartphone is powered by latest version of Google Android v2.1 Eclair operating system for mobile devices, essentially making it a multi-tasking capable mobile computer allowing Internet browsing, streaming videos, playing games, emailing, creating documents and many more capabilities are readily available at just a touch of the finger-friendly 3.2-inch screen.

The Garmin Asus M10 smartphone is quad band GSM and 3G HSDPA network ready handset that is equipped with 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor and includes 512-MB RAM along with 512-MB ROM which is expandable up to 16GB with a microSD card for multimedia files and more, ensuring entertainment like music and videos are always available.
