Motorola EX128 Dual-SIM Touchscreen Phone Launched in India; Featues 3.2 inch WQVGA Display

Motorola India has announced in India its new Motorola EX128 Mobile Phone that has dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) capability and features large 3.2-inch WQVGA 240 x 400 TFT display with full touchscreen functionality.

The new Motorola EX128 Dual-SIM QWERTY phone, is a quad-band GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz network ready in each SIM handset having candy bar design that features a 3.2 inch 240 x 400 pixels wide colour WQVGA TFT display capable of displaying 256K colors.

Weighing 97 gms, the new Motorola EX128 dual-SIM touchscreen phone comes with massive 64-MB of internal RAM plus 128 MB or ROM memory with storage of up to 2000 phone numbers (1000 per SIM) and 500 SMS messages. The handset also supports expandable memory allowing microSD/MMC memory card with upto 8-GB storage space.

Digital Camera: The multimedia Motorola EX128 dual-SIM touchscreen phone also features powerful 3.15 Megapixels resolution digital camera with maximum of 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution allowing 8X Digital Zoom, Brightness Adjustment, and White Balance features. Other still image captured resolution include 320X240, 640X480, 1024 x 768, and 1600 x 1200 pixels and digital camera is equipped with fixed focus lens and a built-in LED flash.

The digital camera also allows continuous video recording (and playback) with 128 x 96 pixels, 176 x 144 pixels and 320 x 240 pixels resolution at 15-30 fps, supporting MP4, and 3GP formats. The video playback allows several standard video file types including MP4, 3GP, H.263, MPEG4, and WMV.

The Motorola EX128 dual-SIM touchscreen phone also comes equipped with built-in Video Mixer application that allows adding transitions and sound effects to your video. In addition, it allows mixing video files with photos and audio files to render professional-looking clip, complete with transitions and overlays.

Media Player: The Motorola EX128 dual-SIM touchscreen phone features MP3 Media Player with dedicated music keys for quick access to various music controls. The media player supports Midi, MP3, AAC, AAC+, AAC-Enhanced, WMA, WAV, Real Audio and AMR formats.

The full touchscreen handset is also equipped with a 3.5 millimeter headset jack allowing users use any standard 3.5 mm headset accessories of their choice and also is equipped with the Motorola’s CrystalTalk technology which allows users to experience clear sound even in noisy environments.

The Motorola EX128 dual-SIM touchscreen phone also features integrated stereo FM Radio with RDS and allows recording short FM radio clips in mono for use as the phone’s alarm and sharing FM stations via SMS.

Connectivity: For connectivity Motorola EX128 offers GPRS Class 10 connectivity with upto 48 kbps speed, EDGE class 10 with upto 236.8 kbps speed and Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP wireless connection for streaming music to compatible pair of wireless headphones or speakers but there is no WiFi, 3G or GPS.

In addition, Motorola EX128 dual-SIM touchscreen phone offers  WAP v2.0 browser with xHTML support and the handset also features USB 2.0 port for wired connectivity, music transfer and phone battery charging.

Like all other recent Motorola handsets, the Motorola EX128 handset also offer support for hindi language charachers as alternative user interface to the default english user interface like Nokia 23xx series handsets which intent to promote wider usage across country and handset is equipped with Hinglish Predictive Text, Indian ring tones and wallpapers for Indian consumers.

Other features of the Motorola EX128 dual-SIM touchscreen phone includes support for polyphonic ringtones, a ringtone composer application, handsfree Speaker Phone, Vibration Alert, Voice dialing, Voice memo recording, and embedded Games.
