Nokia C3 Affordable QWERTY Phone Launched in India For Rs. 7,250

Nokia today announced its new C-Series affordable messaging device, the Nokia C3 Mobile Phone in India which boasts of full QWERTY keypad and has been designed to deliver better messaging and social networking tools to users at affordable prices.


Services that provide easy access to the world’s consumer and corporate email and instant messaging are already quite popular on Nokia’s QWERTY smartphones such as the Nokia E71 and Nokia E63. The new Nokia C3 handset is latest addition to this series, feature full QWERTY keyboards, and enable access to a range of different email accounts, IM communities and social networks.

The Nokia C3 QWERTY phone is the first device to bring a full QWERTY keyboard to Symbian Series 40 OS powered device and is the first in the range to enable access to social networks directly on the homescreen. Users can view, comment, update their status and share pictures to their favourite social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

Announced in April 2010, the Nokia C3 phone also comes preloaded with Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat, allowing first time users to set up email and chat accounts straight from the device, without the need for a PC.

The new Nokia C3 mobile phone introduces Nokis’s new phone naming scheme in C-Series and boast of cool new features in its phone book, allowing users to see their friends status updates directly from Facebook. Designed for Internet savvy users, the Nokia C3 phone comes with a massive 55-MB internal memory along and it supports microSD memory card with up to 8-GB maximum memory storage. The Nokia C3 mobile phone also supports MMS (Multimedia Message Service) for Multimedia text messaging allowing sounds, pictures, animations and formatted text in SMS message and its integrated image blog features allows sharing photos instantly by directly posting them onto any blog site. The powerful and intuitive active toolbar interface provides a one-touch selection to effortlessly send photos via email, Bluetooth connectivity or MMS, print or upload them onto an Internet community.
