Olive Telecom in association with national telecom carrier BSNL, has today announced the release of its all new 3G enabled Olive V-X108 Zipbook NetBook PC which would be bundled with BSNL’s pan-Indian 3G network connectivity.
Olive Telecom along with the BSNL is offering the new 3G-enabled Olive V-X108 Zipbook Netbook which is bundled with BSNL’s pan-nation 3G broadband available across the country.
The new Olive V-X108 ZipBook Netbook is powered by Pentium N450 running at 1.6 GHz with Intel 945GSE+82801GBM(ICH7) chipset mainboard.
The netbook features 10.2-inch (25.91 cms) high resolution display powered by Integrated Gen3.5 GFX Core graphics solution allowing 1024 x 600 pixel native resolution in 32-bit colors.
The Olive V-X108 Zipbook Netbook PC includes 1GB RAM, 160GB internal 2.5-inch SATA 5400rpm hard drive, 82-keys keyboard, WiFi 801.11b/g wireless LAN connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 wireless connectivity and integrated 3G modem.
The Olive V-X108 Zipbook Netbook PC features an inbuilt 3G Modem and is in fact India’s first netbook which has an inbuilt 3G modem. Users don’t need to purchase USB based wireless broadband hardware stick separately to get connected to the Internet resulting in saving of upto Rs 3500 straight away.
More importantly because the modem is built into the netbook there is no risk of breaking the modem besides offering up to10% faster access than an external USB modem.
Other hardware features includes Azallia Interface 56K Fax/ Modem, integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, 3-in-1 memory card reader supporting SD/MS/MMC cards and integrated dual speakers and mic.
The Olive V-X108 Zipbook Netbook PC comes with 2000 mAh 3-cell Li-IOn rechargeable battery that offers 3 hours of backup. An optional 4400 mAh 6-cell battery pack is also available that offers upto 6 hours of backup.
Measuring 265mm x 185mm x 25mm, the new Olive V-X108 3G enabled Netbook PC weighs just 1.2 Kgs with 3-cell battery pack.
