Nokia today announced Nokia C7 Smartphone featuring a large 3.5-inch touchscreen powered by the all new Symbian^3 operating system which brings significant enhancements in speed and ease of use and features an active noise cancellation for clearer voice calls.
The Nokia C7 smartphone is powered by the latest version of the Nokia’s Symbian^3 platform that brings more than 250 new features and improvements and retains the familiarity of its user interface.
Announced back in December 2009, the Symbian^3 operating system for mobiles is now completely open source and has evolved into an even smarter operating system. The Symbian^3 OS allows users to customise up to three homescreens and get live updates from the likes of Facebook and Twitter live on their homescreens.
The Symbian ^3 offers multiple homescreens which are fully customisable with widgets and users are able to be drag and drop widgets into position, making it easier to organize favourite applications on more than one homescreen. It also supports HD output, allowing users hook their phones to hi-def TV for playing back videos and photos that are captured on handset in big-screen quality.
With Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync on board, the new Nokia C7 smartphone provides direct, real-time and secure access to corporate email inboxes and other personal applications.

Measuring 117.3 x 56.8 x 10.5 mm the Nokia C7 weighs 130 gms and it comes with 8GB internal memory with 256MB RAM and 1GB ROM and unlike recently announced Nokia E7 smartphone which lacks memory card slot, this smartphone does offers microSD memory card slot supporting upto 32GB expandable storage.
For connectivity, the Nokia C7 smartphone offers exhaustive data connectivity options that includes GPRS class 32, EDGE class 32, 3G HSDPA 10.2 Mbps connectivity, 3G HSDPA 10.2Mbps connectivity, HSUPA 2.0 Mbps connectivity, WiFi 802.11b/g/N and Bluetooth v3.0 + A2DP for wireless connectivity in addition to microUSB v2.0 for wired connectivity.
