KODAK PLAYTOUCH Pocket Video Camcorder Launched; Offers Full 1080p HD Video With Stereo Audio

Kodak just introduced the new KODAK PLAYTOUCH Pocket Size Video Camcorder, a sleek and stylish addition to its award-winning digital video camera portfolio offering full 1080p HD video recording with stereo audio directly on to SDHC memory card.

The pocket-size KODAK PLAYTOUCH Video Camera features a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen allowing users easily glide through their full 1080p HD videos with the swipe of a fingertip.

Featuring a new on-camera editing software and Kodak’s exclusive Share Button, the KIDAK PLAYTOUCH pocket video camcorder makes it easy for consumers to share their favorite moments with friends and family in full 1080p HD resolution.

Complementing its unique design, the KODAK PLAYTOUCH Video Camera boasts an array of features to help consumers capture their memories with clarity and precision, including built-in image stabilization, LCD glare shield, and an external microphone jack.

The KODAK PLAYTOUCH Video Camera is equipped with a built-in USB arm and Kodak’s Share Button allowing consumers tag their videos and pictures directly on the camera for automatic upload to popular social networking sites once they connect the camera to the computer.

Equipped with a Li-Ion rechargeable battery with in-camera charging, the KODAK PLAYTOUCH Video Camera/Camcorder also allows shooting up to 5.o megapixel still picture in full HD resolution and comes equipped with HDMI output with HDMI cable included, allowing users playback their captured contents directly onto a compatible home TV set in full resolution.

Featuring external stereo microphone jack to add high-quality sound to videos or to plug in headphones for discreet playback, the new KODAK PLAYTOUCH Video Camera is capable of recording up to 10 hours of video in full 1080p HD resolution with stereo audio sound on to the expandable SD/SDHC card slot (up to 32 GB).

MSRP this fall at major retailers and Kodak.com. Kodak has not revealed this camcorder’s price and availability in other markets including India.
