Verizon Wireless and Motorola today announced the launch of Motorola DROID 2 Smartphone, powered by Android v2.2 OS and features 1GH Processor, a massive 3.7-inch touch screen display, 5.0 megapixel camera and full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
The MOTOROLA DROID 2 Smartphone is a feature-packed device that helps manage work and social life with an enhanced QWERTY keyboard, fast 1GHz processor, ultra high-speed Web browsing, 3G Mobile HotSpot capabilities, full push corporate e-mail, intuitive social messaging and Adobe Flash Player 10.1 for access to the full web — all built on Android 2.2.
The new MOTOROLA DROID 2 Smartphone super-slim design helps customers e-mail, text and tweet with ease and it offers a redesigned symmetrical keyboard with raised keys for more responsive typing to push out notes and status updates.

Motorola DROID 2 smartphone allows sharing the video shot with friends and contacts with an optional HDMI cable or HDTVs, game consoles or PCs that support the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) technology.
The Motorola DROID 2 smartphone includes 8 GB of onboard memory and a pre-installed 16 GB memory card. Besides it can be expanded to up to 40 GB with the addition of a 32 GB memory card. It also features GPS with A-GPS support with Google Maps navigation.
The Motorola DROID 2 smartphone which leverages pinch-to-zoom technologies like the Android 2.2 HTC Droid Incredible and HTC Sprint Evo before it, also doubles as a WiFi hotspot, allowing users to power up to five WiFi-capable devices.
