Apple has today announced the Launch of a new revolutionary Apple Magic Trackpad, that is the first Multi-Touch trackpad designed to work with your Mac Pro or iMac desktop computer featuring smooth glass and aluminum design provide the same intuitive Multi-Touch gestures which have been available on MacBook Pro notebooks.
The new Apple Magic Trackpad supports a full set of gestures, giving you a whole new way to control and interact with what’s on your screen.
Apple Magic Trackpad makes swiping through pages online feels just like flipping through pages in a book or magazine and inertial scrolling makes moving up and down a page more natural than ever.
Already available for Rs. 3,070/-, the new Apple Magic Trackpad is about an inch high at the top, about 5 inches wide, and over 5 inches deep, providing users about 80 percent more surface than the trackpad on the MacBooks and it is exactly the same height, slope, and depth as the Apple Wireless Keyboard.
The Apple Magic Trackpad connects to Apple Mac via Bluetooth wireless technology and intended to be used in place of a mouse or in conjunction with one on any Mac computer — even a notebook.
The Apple Magic Trackpad is just like the trackpad on the MacBook Pro, with only a larger foot print. It’s made with the same advanced touch-friendly and wear-resistant glass surface. But with nearly 80 percent more area, it’s the largest Multi-Touch trackpad made by Apple.
So there’s even more room for you to scroll, swipe, pinch, and rotate to your fingers’ content. And since the entire surface is a button that clicks, you can use it in place of a mouse.
The Apple Magic Trackpad supports up to four-finger multitouch gestures and has video help built into control panel. It supports up to four simultaneous multitouch points allowing users to use one finger to click and drag and two fingers to scroll, rotate, pinch/open zoom, and secondary tap (right-click). Three fingers allow users to swipe back/forward in programs like Apple’s built-in photo/jpeg viewer Preview application.
The Apple Magic Trackpad features the same sculpted aluminum design as the Apple Wireless Keyboard, and side by side the two sit flush at the same angle and height. Go from typing to gesturing in one motion, or do both at the same time.
