MSI has today introduced a brand new MSI FX600 Notebook that features aerodynamic lines, a chic exterior, 3D totem seal coating technology to prevent scratching, Turbo Drive Engine (TDE) technology, and cinema-class THX surround sound.
MSI Fx600 notebook incorporates MSI’s own 3D totem seal coating and this jet black 3D totem seal coating in the cover to prevent scratching, smudging, wear, and peeling. A silver MSI logo is set in the center of the cover and the area in front of the keyboard features raised diamond texture for added comfort, giving these models a classic feel heretofore only available in handmade products.
MSI FX600 features chrome-plated power button which is set off by a cold luminescent blue light, while the trim encircling the speakers and body give off a platinum aura.
The unique chiclet keyboard, raised multi-point touchpad, and brush finish metal hotkey area underscore the quality engineering capabilities employed by MSI to merge art, fashion, and technology.
The new MSI FX600 notebook is powered by Intel’s Core i5 processor with HM55 chipset mainboard that offers better performance, while consuming less power and the Intel Turbo Boost and Intel Hyper-Threading technology—dynamic performance adjustment technology to handle more data, while vastly enhancing overall system performance.
The MSI Notebook also feature MSI’s own Turbo Drive Engine technology for instantly throttling up performance with one touch of the brushed metal P1 hotkey above the keyboard, so your NB can process high load applications without bogging down.
The FX600 includes upto 4GB DDR3 1066 MHz RAM in 2 SODIMM slots, upto 500 GB 5400 rpm SATA hard disk drive, 4-in-1 media card reader supporting XD/SD/MMC/Memory Stick, and integrated HD webcam.
It also features WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/draft n wireless LAN, Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR connection, HDMI digital out port, D-sub VGA poer, 2 USB 2.0 ports, one e-SATA/USB Combo port, Mic-in, Headphone out, and standard RJ-45 port for 100/1000 Ethernet connection.
The MSI FX600 notebook comes with 15.6-inch HD/Full HD TFT LCD display powered by the nVIDIA GeForce GT 325M discrete graphics card with 1GB GDDR3 of display memory for high performance.
In addition, when your system needs extra processing power, the automatic graphics switching in MSI’s GPU Boost technology switches over to discrete graphics card mode for superior, true-to-life multimedia enjoyment. When performing general word processing tasks or browsing the Internet, it automatically cuts to the power-sipping integrated graphics chip mode.
MSI FX600 notebook also incorporates professional theater-grade THX smart wrap around sound technology working with four top-end internal speakers for undistorted sound, regardless of music type of frequency band. The Smart Volume and Surround technology ensure crisp, clean sound and enhance mood.
The MSI FX600 also feature powerful multimedia processing and MSI’s own Cinema Pro technology for optimal graphics. A touch of the Cinema Pro hotkey instantly kicks in the film mode for higher resolution and richer colors to maximize your cinematic experience.
The 15.6-inch MSI FX600 notebook measures 383(L)x249.3(W)x32.5(H) mm and weighs 2.4 kgs with 6-cell battery.
MSI has not yet revealed FX600 notebook price or availability in any market.
