Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 Notebook Launched With AMD VISION Technology & ATI Radeon Discrete Graphics

Fujitsu has today introduced the Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 Notebook which is affordable ultra-thin and pleasingly light notebook to endow users with full-fledged PC functionalities on the go.

The Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 is equipped with an LED backlit 11.6-inch Crystal View WXGA HD display and energy-efficient AMD Athlon II Neo Dual-Core Processor K325, merging top-notch computing with mobility and delivers the ultimate convenience for content creation, multi-tasking and HD video playing.

The Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 comes with 92% of full-size spill resistant 82-key keyboard with 17.5 mm key pitch with 2 mm key stroke and a standard integrated touchpad pointing device with gesture support.

The Spill-resistant Keyboard which features a tray below the typing keys prevents the occasional spill from going through the keyboard protecting against any accidental spills with a simple tilt and a quick wipe.

Weighing in at approximately 1.4kg and measuring 285mm (W) x 209mm (D) x 25.4mm (H), the Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 is available in either diamond black or fiery red, and features exudes style with its aesthetics: its glossy cover is simply juxtaposed with the matte, metallic feel of its interior.

The Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 is powered by the 1.3 MHz AMD Athlon II Neo Dual-Core Processor K325 with 2M cache build on AMD RS880M AMD SB820 chipset mainboard allowing high-level computing tasks, be it content creation or smooth HD video playing, while making multi-tasking a breeze.

Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 also features 2GB DDR3 1333 MHz3 SDRAM memory (1 GB +1 GB) which is expandable to 8 GB (4 GB x2) maximum, 320GB SATA 5400 rpm 2.5-inch hard disk and optional external USB optical drive.

Fujitsu has also equipped the LifeBook PH520 notebook with AMD VISION Technology that gives true to life graphics. It features 11.6-inch Crystal View WXGA HD display powered by ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 with AMD RS880 video graphics with up to 896 MB of HyperMemory graphics allowing 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and delivering pristine picture quality whilst savouring the brilliant details of HD videos and crystal clear photos.

Boasting a vivid bright display of 400:1 Contrast Ratio, the Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 notebook also provides excellent picture clarity outdoors.

LifeBook PH520 comes equipped with integrated Atheros XSPAN 802.11BGN (802.11 b/g/n) wireless and includes integrated Bluetooth V2.1 technology, 10/100 Eternet LAN port, Dual Built-in Stereo Speakers, integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, Realtek codec ALC269Q-VB5 with High Definition (HD) audio and HDMI digital out port allowing the seamless connection to a LCD TV display.

The Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 notebook also includes one 15-pin D-SUB connector for VGA external monitor, one HDMI digital out port, three USB 2.0 connectors, one DC In connector, one stereo headphone jack, one stereo microphone/line-in jack, one LAN (RJ-45) connector and multi-in-1 memory card reader slot supporting MemoryStick and SD card.

The Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 comes with 6-cell 10.8V 5800 mAh Lithium ion battery and also features a dedicated Power-ECO-button which allows it to offer upto 5 hours and 30 minutes of battery backup.

In addition, by simply pressing the Fn and F11 keys together (ECO mode) users can instantly go into a power saving mode, allowing longer use from battery. ECO mode can also adjust the notebook settings to deliver the most power while you are working in the office.

The Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 also features My Recovery feature that allows creating recovery disc, giving users the peace-of-mind of having the hard drive base recovery always available.

The LifeBook PH520 also has the DVD Sharing Application that is a simple and user-friendly way that allows the ease of sharing of optical disk drive with other PCs via a wireless connection.

The Fujitsu LifeBook PH520 is already available for $599 with Genuine Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) preloaded. There is no news about this laptop’s price and availability in any market so far.
