Gateway LT3201u Netbook Launched with AMD NEO Dual-Core CPU & ATI Discrere Graphics

Gateway has today introduced its brand new Gateway LT32 Series netbook line of laptops, with Gateway LT3201u Netbook, that is powered by AMD Athlon II Neo Dual-Core processors and ATI discrete graphics with dedicated video memory for enhanced responsiveness and smooth video playback.


The Gateway LT320 series laptops provides great performance and HD entertainment capabilities for consumers that want to take their fun to go in a compact, highly-functional device.

The LT3201i netbook’s look is sleek and modern, and features a matte chassis cover that resists fingerprints with a wave pattern that is subtle yet distinctive.

The Gateway LT3201u netbook is powered by AMD Athlon II Neo Processor K125 running at 1.7GHz, with 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache, AMD M880G Chipset mainboard and it features 2-GB DDR3 dual-channel SDRAM, 250GB 2.5-inch SATA hard drive packed in Classic and Elegant Design with Velvet Blue finish.

The AMD Neo processor is optimized for low-profile, cool operation and improved energy efficiency. Gaming becomes more lifelike, and performance improvements allow for longer battery life and more responsiveness.

The Gateway LT3201u netbook has an 11.6-inch HD Widescreen Ultrabright LED-backlit Display with 1366 x 768 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio powered by ATI Radeon HD 4225 Graphics with up to 384MB of dedicated system memory supporting Shader Model 4.1 and Microsoft DirectX 10.1 with AMD M880G Chipset, resulting is sharper high definition images, richer color, and smooth video and games.

Capable of playing 1080p video and output from a Blu-ray drive, The ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics with its UVD 2 video engine can decode two HD streams simultaneously and provide fluent playback with relatively low processor utilization, thanks to Avivo HD technology. The 4225 onboard card is also DirectX 10.1- and HDMI-capable.
