Motorola today announced the launch of Motorola FLIPOUTTM with MOTOBLUR Smartphone, a brand new stylishly square and compact phone that is powered by Android 2.1 Eclair operating system and is equipped with full QWERTY keyboard.

Expected to roll out in Europe in Q2 2010, The Motorola FLIPOUT runs on Android 2.1 (Eclair) operating system and features an innovative square pivot design that opens to reveal a five-row QWERTY keypad with a separate row for numeric keys.

The Motorola FLIPOUT Smartphone features several advance multimedia solutions that include a FM radio with RDS support, a 3.1MP digital camera with digital zoom and KODAK PERFECT TOUCH technology for better, brighter pictures and gallery mode for tagging and labeling of photos.

In addition, it also allows simple no-fuss one-touch content uploads to Facebook, Orkut, MySpace, Picasa and Photobucket make sharing your images quick and easy.  In addition, the smartphone also allows video recording, playback and streaming options along with Bluetooth capabilities for wireless calls and music.
