Asus has announced launch of Asus G51J 3D Gaming NetBook PC, which is powered by Intel Core i7 Processor and features 15.6-inch widescreen LED backlit display with 3D powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M 1GB discrete graphics and is world’s first notebook equipped with NVIDIA 3D Vision Technology with a pair of battery powered 3D glasses with a USB IR emitter.
Designed for hard core Gaming enthusiasts, the new Asus G51J 3D Gaming notebook comes with a pair of Nvidia’s 3D glasses and the IR emitter that delivers high quality Stereophonic 3D image with clarity, brightness and depth-of-field (DOP) at full resolution without any viewing angle restrictions and the G51J-3D notebook features a black glossy design with graphical touches on the lid.
The NVIDIA GPU driver and a 120Hz 3D panel helps rendering each scene twice on the display, delivering up to 60 images evenly to each eye, to a total of up to 120 images at any given time allowing gamers to experience total immersion into their games from what were previously flat 2D worlds, to true-to-life 3D.
There are currently up to 400 PC games which works flawlessly with NVIDIA 3D Vision allowing gamers experience a whole new dimension of gaming never-before seen, in addition to recently released games such as Resident Evil 5, Borderlands, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Star Trek D-A-C etc.
In addition to NVIDIA 3D Vision technology, the new Asus G51J Gaming notebook also features EAX Advanced HD 4.0 3D audio technology complemented with CMSS surround sound. The EAX Advanced HD 4.0 3D audio technology enhances in-game environments and scenarios by providing corresponding 3D surround sound effects by providing up to 64 additional sound effects from its sound library, resulting in delivering ultra-realistic spatial effects for more than 300 supported games. Together with high fidelity Altec Lansing speakers, the ASUS G51J 3D notebook delivers a gaming and multimedia audio experience that no other notebook can match.
Weighing a massive 3.40 kgs with 6-cell battery pack, the new Asus G51J 3D Gaming notebook is claimed to be world’s first notebook capable of producing realistic 3D visuals in games and videos and it is powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Core i7-720QM processor with Intel Mobile PM55 Express Chipset and it features 4-GB 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM, 320 GB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive and built-in DVD writer.
With Windows 7 64-bit edition preinstalled, the new Asus G51J-3D Gaming workhorse features 15.4 inch WSVGA LED Backlit 120 Hz display powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M discrete graphics solution with 1-GB dedicated DDR3 1066 MHz video RAM delivering maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels in 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio allowing full support of full 1080p HD video experience.
The screen forms the middle portion of the display frame and is flanked on the sides by stereo speakers. Just above this is an integrated 2 Megapixel webcam, placed in the bezel above the LCD.
Available in Cryatal Black, and Royal Blue colors, the Asus G51J 3D Gaming notebook also features integrated WiFi 802.11b/g/n(draft) Wireless LAN mini PCI-E connection and comes with optional Bluetooth v2.1 wireless card, integrated 10/100 Mbit Ethernet LAN connection, an integrated 56kbps Modem/Fax connection, HDMI port and sports 3 USB v2.0 ports including a separate eSATA port and full ExpressCard/54 slot.
Other features of Asus G51J 3D notebook includes integrated 2 MP webcam, 2-in-1 Media Card Reader supporting Multimedia Card (MMC), Memory stick (MS) media cards, 4 USB v2.0 ports, Realtek ALC6628 Hi-Definition Audio 5.1 CODEC Hardware with build-in Altec Lansing speakers stereo speaker system of 1.5 Watts each and also sports built-in Microphone.
