iiView ViewPad Tablet PC Powered by Windows 7 Launched

A Chinese computer hardware manufacturer, iiView has announced the launch of iiView ViewPad Tablet PC that features 10.2-inch touchscreen powered by Windows 7 Starter Edition.


The basic model of iiView ViewPad Tablet PC is armed with Intel’s ultra low power voltage ULV Atom N270 Processor running at 1.6 GHz with Intel 945GSE Chipset mainboard and it features 1-GB RAM and 2.5-inch internal 160-GB 6400 rpm SATA hard drive.

ViewPad Tablet comes equipped with 10.2-inch TFT Touch Screen display powered by integrated graphics chipset with64 MB of dedicated video memory allowing maximum of 1024 x 600 pixels screen resolution the Tablet PC also features 1.3 Megapixel webcam and integrated microphone.

Powered by Windows 7 Starter Edition, the iiView ViewPad Tablet PC’s also features integrated WiFi 802.11/b/g/N wireless connectivity, a 10/100 Ethernet LAN port, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA port for external monitor, audio-in-out port, 5-in-1 media card reader and integrated VIA high definition audio hardware.

Optionally, the ViewPad is also available with higher hard disk capacity (320-GB 7200 rpm) and 3G WCDMA\TD-SCDMA\CDMA2000 network connectivity for fast internet access.

Available for US $499, the iiView ViewPad Tablet PC sports dimensions of 6.57 x 10.5 x 1 inch and has internal rechargeable battery that offers upto 3 hours of backup.
