Acer unveils NeoTouch P400 and P300 series Smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2010 which are powered by Windows Mobile 6.5.3 OS and boasts of a slim appearance with smooth black and chrome finish handset design.
Both NeoTouch P400 and P300 Smartphones are powered by Windows Mobile 6.5.3 OS and features optimized touch controls that provides great web browsing experience and offers host of Windows applications that includes Mail, Microsoft Exchange Server Support and Microsoft Office Mobile applications.
Both NeoTouch P400 and P300 Smartphones offer exhaustive set of data connectivity options that includes multi-band 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, GPS with A-GPS support, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and miniUSB 2.0 ports.
The Acer newTouch P300 Smartphone is powered by 600MHz Qualcomm 7227 processor and it includes a 3.2-inch WQVGA full Touchscreen display with a slide-out QWERTY keypad and features 3.2 Megapixel digital cameras which comes complete with autofocus, geo-tagging capabilities, and video recording capabilities. It also features host of Windows Mobile appls including Internet Explorer 6 Mobile with Flash Light support and offers seamless access to corporate e-mail servers via Microsoft Exchange server.
The Acer NeoTouch P300 comes preloaded with Microsoft Office Suite, Google and Bing search engines, quick access to Facebook, Flickr and Blogger, and a built-in YouTube application allowing high-definition video streaming on the go.
Other slim and sleek neoTouch P400 Smartphone has black and high-gloss silver fingerprint-proof coating wrappings and is thinner than the P300 at 12mm as compared with the P300’s 15.1mm thickness because it does NOT sport built-in slide-out QWERTY keypad. The P400 is also powered by 600MHz Qualcomm 7227 processor and it includes a 3.2-inch HVGA full touchscreen display dubbed as “ultra-sensitive precision” and features 3.2 Megapixel cameras digital cameras which comes complete with autofocus, geo-tagging capabilities, and video recording capabilities.
The Acer NeoTouch P400 also comes preloaded with Microsoft Office Suite, Google and Bing search engines, quick access to Facebook, Flickr and Blogger, and a built-in YouTube application allowing high-definition video streaming on the go in addition to Windows Media Player 10, Outlook, Hotmail and Webmail support, as well as Microsoft Direct Push mail and PC syncing features to back up data on the phone to a notebook or netbook.
The Acer NeoTouch P300 is expected to arrive in March 2010 followed by P400 in May 2010 but no price details are disclosed as yet.
