Nokia Announces 6303i Classic Mobile Phone, Offering More Colors and Minor Tweaks

Nokia has announced today the launch of 6303i Classic mobile phone, which is next version of its  popular Nokia 6303 Classic phone, that features virtually nothing new including same 2.2 inch 16M color capable TFT display and 3.2 Megapixels Autofocus camera except a 3.5 mm audio jack and Bluetooth now has A2DP support.


The new Nokia 6303i Classic  phone features same 2.2-inch, 16 Million Colors, 240 x 320 pixels – CSTN TFT Display and it comes equipped with 55-MB (6303 had 64-MB) internal memory with added support for upto 8-GB (6303 has 4-GB) microSD expandable memory card.

Measuring exactly same as older Nokia 6303 108.8 x 46.2 x 11.7 mm and weighing same 96 gms, the new Nokia 6303i Classic phone also offers 3.2 megapixel camera with Autofocus, 4x digital zoom, 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and built-in LED Flash and Video recoding capability in CIF @ 15fps / QVGA @ 8fps.

For connectivity, Nokia 6303i Classic offers GPRS class 10, EDGE Class 10 connecivity, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, and  hi-speed microUSB port. In addition, it also sports 3.5mm audio out port.

Available in new and fresh looking Steel, Matt Black, Chestnut, Illuvial pink, White on Silver, Khaki on Gold colors, the Nokia 6303i Classic phone comes with Stereo FM radio with RDS and live FM recording feature, MP3 media player that supports MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ audio file formats, video player that supports MP4/H.263/H.264 3GP video file formats and is equipped with JAVA MIDP 2.1, WAP 2.0 and full HTML browser. Users can tune into FM radio for audio entertainment or play music using built-in MP3 media player and can continue to listen to the background music even as they access various phone applications.
