Lenovo Launches ThinkPad X100e First Entry-Level Ultraportable Laptop

Lenovo has today launched its new ultra-portable ThinkPad X100e Series laptop, primarily aimed at the rapidly expanding SMB megment in India, featuring 11.1 inches widescreen displays to suit the small business users who require laptops with light-weight, sleek, and reliable computing tools that fits their budget.

The new Lenovo ThinkPad X100e series laptops boasts of a new curvy design with wast choice of attractive color options, and feature multi-touch pad and chiclet-style, spill-resistant rounded keyboard besides offering Active Protection System and Rescue and Recovery.

Weighing just ablut 1.36 Kgs with 3-cell battery pack, the ultra-portable Lenovo ThinkPad X100e laptops comes with 11.6-inch LED Backlit HD display allowing maximum screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and comes with options of AMD Athlon Neo single processors along with Windows 7 Professional pre-installed. The ultra-portable also features multitouch touchpad and Trackpoint pointing device and a multitouch touchpad that lets you easily zoom, scroll and rotate using simple two-finger gestures.

Available in choice of 3 colors, viz. Available in Midnight Black and Heatwave Red in smooth finishes, the ThinkPad X100e systems comes equipped with 4-GB of DDR3-1066 RAM and choice of 160-GB, 250-GB ora 320-GB SATA @ 7200 rpm hard drive and can provide upto 7.8 hours of battery backup. It also features WiFi 802.11 b/g/N support, built-in 3G mobile broadband functionality with GPS, WiMAX connection support, Bluetooth wireless, and comes with built-in low-light-sensitive webcam, 3x USB v2.0 ports, a eSATA/USB power port, 5-in-1 memory card reader and HDMI 1.3 digital out port.
