MSI Announces 14 New Notebook Models Across Five Segments

MSI has announced today 14 new notebook models across 5 different series in India that includes G-series gaming notebooks, Classic series, E-series entertainment notebooks, X Slim series and the U-series Wind netbooks.

These new additions includes: MSI GT640, GT740, MSI EX 465 and MSI EX460, CR420, CX420 and CR620, X350, X420, X620 and X430 and Wind U130, Wind U135, U210 and U230 notebooks.

G-Series Notebooks

The G series notebook from MSI are build with graphics intensive gaming applications. The ultra powerful MSI GT640 and GT740 notebooks sports standard 15.4 inch and large 17 inch Intel Calpella widescreen flatscreen displays powered by heavy-duty NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M 3D discrete graphics. These notebooks are powered with all new Intel C i7 Quad-Core processors and frequently used WASD keys highlighted touch activated interface board. These new G-Series notebooks are available for starting prices of  Rs. 88,000.

E-Series Notebooks

There are two E-Series notebooks viz. MSI EX 465 and MSI EX460 launched by MSI which are designed for fun and Entertainment.  The EX465 and E460 both notebooks comes with 15-inch widescreen LED backlit display powered by Radeon HD4330 discrete 3D graphics card offering 16:9 high-definition cinema displays. These new E-Series notebooks are powered by Intel Core Duo processor and are pretty lightweight under 2.0 kgs with 6-cell battery . These new E-Series MSI notebooks are available for starting price of Rs. 39,000 onwards.

Classic Series Notebooks

New Classic series notebooks from MSI includes CR420, CX420 and CR620 notebooks. The new Classic Series notebooks are powered by 2010 series Intel Core i5 processors that delivers 20 percent enhanced performance and are designed for business users. These new classic series notebooks offers Intel Calpella platform display technology for better image processing capability and provides 1080p HD quality video capabilities. Sporting a slim and clean design with Chiclet keyboard these notebooks also features special brushed metal touchpad buttons. These new Classic Series MSI notebooks are available for starting price of Rs. 38,000 onwards.

X-Series Notebooks

Then we have four new addition to MSI’s X-Series slim and ultra-portable notebooks viz. X350, X420, X620 and X430 which are slim and lightweight notebooks offering support for range of latest Intel Core 2 Duo or CULV processor and graphics card with 1-GB video RAM.

The new MSI X620 sports a unique frame design with MSI’s exclusive textured patterning with color film print coating and elegant silver borders. Measuring 39.2 x 25.5 x 3.63 cm the MSI X620 weighs only 2.41 kg with 8-cell battery pack. The MSI X620 is powered by the Pentium SU4100 or Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor and comes with 15.6-inch display offering  maximum resolution is of 1355 x 768 pixels powered by ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430 graphics hardware with 1-GB of video RAM.

The X620 also features 4-GB of DDR3 1066/800 MHz SDRAM, a slot-in DVD writer and a 2.5-inch internal SATA 7200 rpm hard drive with a storage capacity of 250GB, 320GB or even 500GB and also feature Chiclet keyboard, SRS support and LED backlit panel.

A exclusive feature new X-Series notebooks from MSI is its exclusive 3D Boost Technology that allows  balance power consumption between audiovisual experiences and battery life which allows these new X-series notebook to run for up to 11 hours on a single charge of its eight-cell battery.

The new X-Series notebooks from MSI are available for starting price of Rs. 45,000 onwards.

U-Series Notebooks

Lastly, we have 4 new U series notebooks viz. Wind U130, U135 and expensive U210 and U230.

MSI U130 and U135 are special edition notebooks which are powered by Intel ATOM N450 Pine Trail processor.

MSI Wind U210 and U230 notebook sports 12-inch  LED backlit display powered by ATI HD 3200 graphics hardware and are powered by dual-core AMD processors.

The MSI Wind U130 and U135 are priced at Rs. 19,000 and Rs. 21,000 respectively while MSI U210 and U230 are available for Rs. 23,000 and Rs. 28,000 respectively.
