Transcend has launched in India its first USB port powered portable CD/DVD optical writer for notebook and ultraportable netbook computers that offer reading/writing speed of 8x for DVD and 24x for CD-R/RW media and is capable of Dual Layer DVD disk read and write of upto 8.5 GB.
Compatible with CD-R/RW, DVD±R, DVD±RW, DVD±R DL, DVD-RAM medias, the slim and portable CD/DVD writeris USB powered therefore requiring no external power source and comes with a full-featured professional media writing application, CyberLink Power2Go for windows operating system.
