Kodak EasyShare C182 12 MP Digital Camera Launched
Kodak has launched in India its new 12 Megapixel capable ‘point-and-shoot’ type Kodak EasyShare C182 Digital Camera that offer 12 Megapixel resolution and has large 3.0 inches (7.8 cm) color LCD display.
Offering 3X optical zoon lens along with 5X continuous digital zoom lens system (0.2X increment), the new Kodak EasyShare C182 digital camera effectively allows total of 15X zoom capability for still picture capture in maximum 4096 x 3050 pixels (12.4 MP effective) resoluton allowing stunning prints of upto 30 x 40 inches in size.
The new Kodak EasyShare C182 digital camera also allows users to capture telephoto and wide angle shots in addition to multi-scene shooting mode.
The digital camera offers several preset scene shooting mode that includes: portrait, night portrait, landscape, night landscape, panorama R-L, panorama L-R, snow, beach, text, backlight, museum/manner, fireworks, high ISO, children, flower, self-portrait, sunset, and candlelight
Targeted to non-professional users the ‘point-and-shoot’ Kodak EastShare C182 digital camera sports intuitive and simple to use user interface and is equipped with a wide 3.0-inch (7.8 cm) 960 x 240 pixels color TFT LCD display capable of 230K pixels resolution.
Kodak C182 digicam comes with 16-MB of internal storage (11 MB for still picture storage) and is also equipped with microSD / SDHC memory card slot offering upto 32-GB expandable memory.
The 12 MB capable Kodak EasyShare C182 digital camera can capture still pictures in True HD quality in 16:9 format and stores in JPEG/EXIF v2.21 format with maximum resolution of 4096 x 3016 pixels and is also capable of recording live video with sound in VGA (640 x 480 pixels) @ 30 fps or QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) @ 30 fps in 16:9 aspect ratio.
The digital camera is also equipped with features like Smart Capture that automatically identifies the scene and adjusts camera settings for a great picture in just about any environment, Face Detection that locates faces and automatically adjusts camera settings for great shots of friends and family, Blue Reduction that automatically minimizes the effects of camera shake to deliver clearer, sharper pictures and many more to capture perfect picture.

The Kodak EasyShare C182 is equipped with Auto Focus Lens and it basic features includes 2.9 wide / 5.2 Tele aperture with focal length 32 – 96 mm and macro focus of 1cm to 100 cm, 3X optical zoom and 5X digital zoom, shutter speed of upto 1/1400 seconds, built-in flash with red-eye correction/reduction feature, blur reduction and built-in microphone.
In addition, it also offers Burst shooting mode, direct print function using PictBridge and can also function as standard webcam when connected to laptop or desktop.
Other feature of Kodak EasyShare C182 digicam includes anti-shaking/Blur reduction technology to avoid hand shakes and blurs, intelligent auto-scene-selection mode that helps capture performance still photo by automatically detecting eight different types of scenes and choosing the appropriate camera settings, built-in USB 2.0 port connection, and a high sensitivity of ISO 1600 to help reduce camera shaking effects.
Weighing about 125 grams, the Kodak EasyShare C182 12 MP digital camera uses 2AA rechargable alkaline/lithium/Ni-Mh batteries allowing upto 100 still pictures shooting with full charge.
