ViewSonic has launched VPC100 All-in-One desktop PC offering an ideal solution for Call Canters, small businesses, schools, libraries,  and any multi-user computing environment looking for cost and desk space consideration.

Powered by 1.6 GHz Intel ATOM N270 Single-Core Processor, the new ViewSonic VPC100 All-in-One desktop PC features 1-MB L2 cache, 533 MHz Front Bus speed, Mobile Intel 945GSE + ICH7M Express Chipset motherboard and comes with 1-GB PC2-6400 DDR2 533 MHz with 2 SODIMM Slots offering maximum 4-GB SDRAM, 2.5-inch 160-GB Serial-ATA 5400 rpm with 150 MB/sec transfer speed hard disk drive and internal 8X SuperMulti Drive Double Layer (8.5 GB) DVD Writer.

The Intel Atom N270 processor uses a brand new design structure that packs in 47 million transistors into a single chip sized at just 22mm (0.87 inches), and the processor uses just 2.5 watts of power which is less than 1/10th of the 35 watts used by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

Weighing 5.32 Kgs, the new ViewSonic VPC100 All-in-One desktop PC is equipped with Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g Network Connection and offers 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 56 kbps V.90 modem and 3 USB v2.0 ports and 1 eSATA/USB combo ports for wired connections. The desktop also sports integrated 1.3 MP webacam and integrated Microphone.

In addition, ViewSonic VPC100 All-in-One desktop PC also features two 3-Watts stereo speakers built-in into the LCD monitor unit which also packs CPU and optical drive and it comes with standard 100-keys PS/2 keyboard and PS/2 optical mouse.
