MSI Launches CX700 and CR700 ‘Classic’ Series of Notebook
MSI, has today announced the launch of its new CX700 and CR700 ‘Classic’ series notebook PCs powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processors and featuring 17.3-inch display.
These notebooks are MSI’s addition to its recently announced ‘Classic’ series notebook models which includes CR400 with 14-inch, CX600 with 16-inch and CR-600 with 16-inch displays and company aims to target these new 17.3-inch display models specifically mainstream PC users.
The CX700 and CR700 C-series notebook from MSI are designed for multimedia enthusiasts and both models are equipped with advance 2.1-channel subwoofer speaker systems delivering high-quality audio output and features HDMI digital out port for direct connection to HD system.
Both MSI CX700 CR700 notebook PCs are equipped with similar LED-backlit, 17.3-inch widescreen display with HD resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels and offers choice of latest Intel Core 2 Duo Processors.
MSI CX700 Model:
The MSI CX700 notebook features 4-GB of DDR2 memory, a 500-GB 2.5-inch 5400 rpm SATA hard drive, and internal DVD Super-Multi dual-layer DVD writer.
The MSI CX700 notebook model offers choice for an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and is equipped with LED-backlit, 17.3-inch widescreen display with HD resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels powered by high performance ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 3D graphics chip with 512-MB of dedicated video memory.
In addition, the MSI CX700 also offers a internal 4-in-1 media card reader and 6-cell Li-ion battery pack. The notebook measures 414 x 267 x 33.7 mm and weighs about 3.0 kgs with 6-cell battery pack.
MSI CR700 Model:
The MSI CR700 notebook features 4-GB of DDR2 memory, a 500-GB 2.5-inch 5400 rpm SATA hard drive, and internal DVD Super-Multi dual-layer DVD writer.

In addition, the MSI CR700 also offers a internal 5-in-1 media card reader and 6-cell Li-ion battery pack. The notebook measures 414 x 267 x 33.7 mm and weighs about 3.0 kgs with 6-cell battery pack.
Both MSI notebook models CX700 and CR700 comes preloaded with Windows Vista Home Premium and also features 3 USB ports, integrated 1.3-megapixel webcam with built-in microphone, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN card, 10/100/1000 gigabit Ethernet port, integrated Bluetooth V2.0 with EDR wireless connection.
