Simmtronics Launches Intel G41 Chipset Based G41T-M Motherboard
Simmtronics has launched G41T-M series motherboard based on Intel G41 chipset for desktop PCs and laptops featuring 45nm Intel G41 + ICH7 chipset support for socket LGA775 allowing support for upto Intel Core 2 Duo Quad processor.
The Simmtronics G41T-M motherboard uses technologies for better power efficiency and supports Intel Core 2 multi-core processors including Core 2 Duo Quad processor and various upcoming 45nm processors.
The new G41T-M motherboard supports socket LGA775 Intel processors with HT technology that the company said doubles the bandwidth of the system memory up to 12.8GB/sec to pump up system performance.

Samsung Launches Guru E1107 Entry Level Solar Powered Mobile Phone
Samsung has today announced its new entry-level world’s first solar powered Samsung Guru E1107 mobile phone which is a dual-band GSM Candybar style entry-level mobile phone featuring 65K colors CSTN display, Solar charging, Flash light, FM Radio with FM recording and offers upto 9 hours of long battery time.
Designed for users in Indian Rural areas, the new Samsung Guru E1107 phone is equipped with solar panel in the backside that allows charging the phone using solar power.
Solar power, though not the main source of the power in this handset, allows charging battery to provide 5 to 10 minutes of talk time with one hour of direct sunlight exposure. It would take upto 40 hours of direct sun light (and phone switched off) to fully charge the battery.
