HTC has unveiled HTC Snap Smartphone which is equipped with 2.4-inch QVGA nontouch display and full QWERTY keypad. The new device which is only 12mm thick comes with a unique feature viz Inner Circle introduced by HTC for first time, that can auto-prioritize the incoming emails by selectively pull emails from any desired contact and place them at the top of the simplifing the email experience to any user.
At the press of a dedicated Inner Circle key, the HTC Snap handset bring emails from a preselected single contact or group of contacts to the top of the inbox so that user could read and reply to such so called prioritized messages quickly.
Inner Circle features of the HTC Snap smartphone is outcome of a recent study carried out by Harris Interactive and commissioned by HTC in USA market which revealed that nearly 55% of mobile users in the US prioritized around 5 or fewer people with whom they frequently communicate through email.The HTC Snap smartphone has an ergonomic keyboard sporting extra-large domed keys and feature tactile feedback for more comfortable typing.
In addition, the HTC Snap also offers Microsoft Direct Push Technology for real-time e-mail delivery and automatic synchronization with your Outlook calendar, tasks, and contacts via Microsoft Exchange Server in addition to supporting standard POP3 and IMAP e-mail protocols for email system.
Weighing 119 gms, the HTC Snap is compact in size at 11.4 x 6.1 x 1 cm (4.5 inches tall by 2.4 inches wide by 0.4 inch deep) and like all earlier HTC smarphones is powered by the Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard OS and it features a 528 MHz Qualcomm CPU. The smartphone is also equipped with 256 MB of ROM and 128 MB of RAM, microSDHC expansion slot and sports 2.4-inch QVGA NONTOUCH display.
The HTC Snap comes with 2.0 megapixel camera with video-recording capabilities and for connectivity Snap offers Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, integrated WiFi, and high-speed 3G HSDPA connectivity that allows users to share digital content while on the move.
Users of HTC Snap smartphone can also take advantage of the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 standard platform that provides a simple and easy-to-use interface.

The HTC Snap is equipped with a standard 1500mAh battery, that can provides up to 8 and a half hours of talk time and about 245 hrs of standby time with full charge.
The HTC Snap smartphone is expected to reach stores in select markets across the world following a global launch in the second half of the year. There are no details on the price of the phone.
