Dell Studio XPS 13 Notebook
Dell has recently introduced Studio XPS 13 notebook in India powered by 2.40 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and it features 13.3-inch UltraSharp Widescreen WXGA TFT display, integrated 1.3 Megapixel Webcam, WiFi 802.11a/g/n LAN connection, 8X DVD Writer, and 8-in-1 Memory Card Reader.
Made from highly durable magnesium alloy and designed with frame with genuine leather accents, edge-to-edge diaplay and backlit keyboard, the new Dell Studio XPS 13 notebook PC is powered by 2.40 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8600 featuring NVIDIA MCP79MX chipset motherboard with 3-MB L2 Cache delivering 1066 MHz FSB.
Less than 1-inch thick at the front, Dell Studio XPS 13 notebook PC features 3-GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1066 MHz (up to 4-GB SDRAM Maximum in 2 slots), a 320-GB SATA HDD with 7200 rpm and it comes equipped with a slot-loading SuperMulti dual-layer (8.5 GB) DVD writer.
Windows Vista Home Premium Edition preinstalled Dell Studio XPS 13 notebook PC also sports integrated 8-in-1 card-reader which supports Secure Digital (SD), MultiMediaCard (MMC), Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick PRO (MS PRO), xD-Picture Card (xD), Mini SD, Memory Stick Duo (MS Duo) and Memory Stick Pro Duo (MS Pro Duo).
The Dell Studio XPS 13 notebook PC comes with 1.3 Megapixels web camera built in directly above the LCD display and it also sports integrated dual digital array microphones.
Weighing just about 2.2 Kgs with DVD writer and 6-cell battery, the new Dell Studio XPS 13 sports 13.3-inch (33.7 cm) UltraSharp Widescreen WXGA Slim TFT display with TrueLife technology offering maximum of 1280 x 800 pixels screen resolution powered by integrated NVIDIA GeForce Go 9400M GT Graphics chipset with 256-MB dedicated GDDR3 video graphics memory.
Available in Crimson Red, Sapphire Blue or Smoke Gray colors, the Dell Studio XPS 13 is equipped with Dell 1515 Wireless LAN Network 802.11a/g/n connection, integrated 10/100 Fast Ethernet LAN connection and option for an external 56kbps v.92 Fax/Modem card via USB port.
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8600 powered new Dell Studio XPS 13 notebook PC comes with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition with SP1 OS preinstalled and it comes bundled with various legal software including Utility Driver CD, CD Writer Software, and DVD Playback Software.
Dell Studio XPS 13 sports 1x USB v2.0 ports, 1x USB 2.0/e-SATA combo port, video HDMI port for HDTV video, dual headphone ports, two microphone ports, and on the right side it sports ExpressCard/54 slot (Media Center remote), wireless on/off switch, slot-loading optical drive bay, one USB port, and security lock slot.
Dell Studio XPS 13 notebook features standard Wi-Fi Catcher for connecting to a Wi-Fi hotspot and it is done without powering up your notebook. The notebook also featuers standard Hyperband Multi-Antenna which allow strong and clear wireless reception.
The Studio XPS 13 also features a standard Consumer Infrared port which allows navigate through music, videos, photos remotely with the travel remote control located in the express card slot.
Dell Studio XPS 13 notebook offers 5.1 channel output with for true surround sound experience with no external decoder required. In addition, notebook features two internal speakers with two 18mm transducers per speaker enclosure providing 10 watt output power.
A Premium Digital Array microphones is also available for enhanced voice and communication applications.
The Dell Studio XPS 13 notebook is equipped with 6-cell 56 WHr lithium-ion battery with 2.5-hours life but it sports optional 9-cell 85 WHr lithium-ion battery with extended 9-hours of backup life.
