Sony has announced Sony-Ericsson G900 Mobile phone which is a tri-band GSM, and 3G HSDPA network ready mobilephone which features 2.4-inch 265K TFT Touchscreen display with handwriting recognition, integrated 5.0 Megapixels autofocus digital camera, MP3 media player, FM Radio, ultrafast 3G HSDPA network, Bluetooth with A2DP wireless connection and WiFi 802.11b/g wireless LAN connection.
The tri-band GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz network along with 3G HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 network ready Sony Ericsson G900 mobilephone has 240 x 320 pixels, 2.4 inches, 262,144-colours TFT touchscreen display with handwriting recognition ability.
The Sony Ericsson G900 mobile phone comes with 160-MB shared internal memory and it offers Memory Stick Micro (M2) support with up to 8 GB maximum memory card. It comes with 512-MB M2 memory card as package. The main internal storage memory allows storage of almost unlimited phone numbers and handset also offers 30 dialed, 30 received, 30 missed calls records.

USB Mass storage Mode
The Sony Ericsson G900 mobilephone also supports a USB mass storage mode, allowing storage of important files like documents, images, and music files. The USB mass storage mode does not require any special setup or software installation on any PC the handset is being connected to. Simply connect the Sony G900 handset to the PC running Windows XP or Vista using custom-supplied USB cord and press OK (yes) button to kick-start the USB mass storage session and drag-drop files between PC and handset.
5 MP Digital Camera
The Sony-Ericsson G900 mobilephone sports a top class powerful 5.0 Megapixels digital camera that offers 2.5x digital zoom (30 steps) – for both still and video shooting – at maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels resolution. The camera also features Autofocus, Xenon integrated flash, Image Stabilizer technology and Auto lens cover.
The Sony G900 handset is equipped with a slide-out lens cover that automatically switches on the main 5.0 MP digital camera. 3G – HSDPA (3.6 Mbps) network ready Sony Ericsson G900 mobilephone allows shooting pictures in three different resolutions: 160 x 120, 640 x 480, 1632 x 1224 pixels (2 MP), and 2592 x 1944 (5 MP) and they are saved in standard JPEG format. Sony Ericsson K850i mobilephone also captures videos in 3GP format with a resolution of 176 x 144 pixels. Recording length is only limited by the available free space on the memory card.

The RDS feature of FM Radion technology in Sony Ericsson G900 mobilephone enables display of the radio station name or even additional information – like artist names or song titles and duration etc. The FM Radio offers 20 stations memory and allows frequency scale of 87.5 up to 108.0 MHz.
