Nokia 6210 Navigator Mobile Phone
Nokia has announced a new GPS enabled quad-band GSM mobile phones, the Nokia 6210 Navigator which features built-in GPS receiver with Nokia Maps, 3.15 Megapixels camera with 8X digital zoom and video recording capability, MP3 Media player, FM stereo radio, EDGE and 3G HSDPA 3.6 Mbps data connectivity, Bluetooth v2.0+A2DP and built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS.
The new quad-band GSM 850 / 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 MHz network and EDGE network along with HSCSD (High-Speed Circuit-Switched Data) and 3G HSDPA 3.6 Mbps network ready Nokia 6210 Navigator Slide mobile phone is equipped with 2.4-inch 240 x 320 pixels QVGA TFT color display capable of 16-Million colors and comes with 120-MB internal shared memory along with 64-MB SDRAM allowing almost unlimited number phonebook records and upto 30 days received, dialed and missed calls records.
The Nokia 6210 Navigator Slide mobilephone is also equipped with microSD memory card slot offering maximum of 8-GB expandable memory and a 512 MB microSD memory card is included in sales package.
The Nokia 6210 Navigator Slide mobilephone also supports a USB mass storage mode, allowing storage of important files like documents, images, and music files. The USB mass storage mode does not require any special setup or software installation on any PC the handset is being connected to.
For data connectivity, the new Nokia 6210 mobile phone offers EDGE (EGPRS) Class 32 with 296 kbps speed, GPRS Class 32 with upto 64.2 kbps speed connection, 3G HSDPA with upto 3.6 Mbps speed (download), and HSCSD (High-Speed Circuit-Switched Data) connection.
In addition, Nokia 6210 Navigator mobile phone also offers built-in Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP connection. The wireless Bluetooth v2.0 connection with Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) feature offered by Nokia E66 mobilephone allows listening to music on bluetooth compatible headset absolutely wire-free and in full stereo.
The EDGE Class 32 network connection offered by Nokia 6210 Navigator mobilephone handset allows ultra fast data transmissions, and faster downloads and file transfers, while Bluetooth technology enables communication with other Bluetooth compatible devices and gadgets such as color printers, PDAs and laptops for instant sync-ups, data transfer and print jobs in a flash.
The Nokia 6210 Navigator mobile phone also supports MMS (Multimedia Message Service) for Multimedia text messaging allowing sounds, pictures, animations and formatted text in SMS message and its integrated image blog features allows sharing photos instantly by directly posting them onto any blog site. The powerful and intuitive active toolbar interface provides a one-touch selection to effortlessly send photos via email, Bluetooth connectivity or MMS, print or upload them onto an Internet community.
369 MHz AMR 11 Processor powered Nokia 6210 Navigator mobile phone is equipped with Symbian OS 9.2 Series 60 v3.1 operating system and it also features built-in Loudspeaker for integrated handsfree speaker, push to talk facility, voice commands and voice recording, Microsoft Document Viewers for word, excel and powerpoint, applications including calender and to-do-list with printing.
The new Nokia 6210 Navigator mobile phone also sports built-in GPS receiver with integrated Assisted Global Positioning System (A-GPS) and it comes with pre-installed Nokia Maps application and free downloadable maps of over 100 countries.
In addition, the Nokia 6210 handset also sports integrated Bluetooth v2.0 for wireless, and USB v2.0 miniUSB port for wired connectivity.
Having soft ceramic paint with high gloss surfaces, the Nokia 6210 Navigatior Slide mobilephone also features 3.2 megapixel fixed focus digital camera with 8x digital zoom, allowing maximum of 2048 x 1536 pixels still picture resolution and it also offers video (QCIF) Video Capture and playback. The camera allows many preset settings including white balance, three quality levels and many picture effects. The still pictures can be shot in both portrait and landscape modes and there is a option for sequence shots.
Nokia 6210 Navigator mobile phone also sports secondary VGA resolution (640 x 480 pixels) camera for videocall. Still pictures are stored in JPEG/EXIF image formats and digital camera allows automatic scene selection including user defined, portrait, landscape, night, and night portrait.
The Nokia 6210 Slide mobile phone also features integrated Media Player which supports MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, enhanced AAC+. H.263, H.264, WMA media files.
Running Symbian S40 operating system the new Nokia 6210 Navigator Slide mobile phone sports multi-functional 5-way navigation key and it also offers Video streaming (3GPP), integrated FM stereo radio (no recording) and it full-screen view finder.
Available in Red Sunset, Grey Dusk and Black colors, the new Nokia 6210 Navigator mobile phone also features integrated FM stereo radio with Visual Radio feature and is capable of playing streaming video (3GPP). The FM radio allows 87.5 – 108 MHz frequency range and handset is also equipped with 2.5 mm AV connector supporting custom Nokia headphones.
Nokia 6210 Slide phone includes several applications including Nokia Maps, Nokia Search, Opera browser, Yahoo! Go, WidSets and Plug and play mobile services, and it supports Java MIDP 2.0 applications.
Other features of Nokia 6210 Navigator Slide mobile phone includes WAP 2.0/xHTML Browser, wide range of ringing tones including 64 polyphonic MIDI, MP3, AAC/eAAC+, AMR audio clips, and video ringtones, xHTML browser, Java MIDP 2.0, and voice recording and Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, for recording and sending voice messages.
