Nokia 3600 Slide Mobile Phone
Nokia has recently announced a new multimedia quad-band GSM mobile phones, Nokia 3600 Slide in India, featuring 16-Million Color TFT display, 3.2 Megapixels camera with 8X digital zoom, video recording, MP3 Media player, TV-Out port, bluetooth connection and fast HSCSD and EDGE connectivity.
The new quad-band GSM 850 / 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 MHz network and and EDGE network along with HSCSD (High-Speed Circuit-Switched Data) network ready Nokia 3600 Slide mobile phone is equipped with a unique background noise cancellation technology and it features 2.0-inch 240 x 320 pixels TFT color display capable of 16-Million colors and comes with 30-MB internal shared memory allowing 2000 number phonebook and upto 20 received, 20 dialed and 20 missed calls records.
The Nokia 3600 Slide mobilephone is also equipped with microSD memory card slot offering maximum of 4-GB expandable memory and a 512 MB microSD memory card is included in sales package.
The Nokia 3600 Slide mobilephone also supports a USB mass storage mode, allowing storage of important files like documents, images, and music files. The USB mass storage mode does not require any special setup or software installation on any PC the handset is being connected to.
The new Nokia 3600 Slide mobile phone along with GPRS Multislot Class 32 connection with upto 100 kbps speed also offers faster data transfer options using EDGE Multislot Class 32 connection with 296 kbps speed connection (3 times faster than stdanrd GPRS speed) and HSCSD connection with upto 28.8 kbps speed.
In addition, the Nokia 3120 Classic handset also sports integrated Bluetooth v2.0 for wireless, and USB v2.0 miniUSB port for wired connectivity.
Having soft ceramic paint with high gloss surfaces, the Nokia 3600 Slide also features 3.2 megapixel fixed focus digital camera with 8x digital zoom, allowing maximum of 2048 x 1536 pixels still picture resolution and it also offers video (QCIF) Video Capture and playback. The camera allows many preset settings including white balance, three quality levels and many picture effects. The still pictures can be shot in both portrait and landscape modes and there is a option for sequence shots.
The Nokia 3600 Slide mobile phone also features integrated Media Player which supports MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, enhanced AAC+. H.263, H.264, WMA media files.
Running Symbian S40 operating system the new Nokia 3600 Slide mobile phone sports multi-functional 5-way navigation key and it also offers Video streaming (3GPP), integrated FM stereo radio (no recording) and it full-screen view finder. FM stereo radio supports Visual Radio.
Nokia 3600 Slide phone includes several applications including Nokia Maps, Nokia Search, Opera browser, Yahoo! Go, WidSets and Plug and play mobile services, and it supports Java MIDP 2.0 applications.
Other features of Nokia 3600 Slide mobile phone includes WAP 2.0/xHTML Browser, wide range of ringing tones including 64 polyphonic MIDI, MP3, AAC/eAAC+, AMR audio clips, and video ringtones, xHTML browser, Java MIDP 2.0, and voice recording and Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, for recording and sending voice messages. Handset also offers Email client software which supports IMAP4, POP3 & SMTP protocols.
