Nokia E66 Mobile Phone
Nokia has announced in India the new Nokia E66 mobile phone , which sports a very large 2.4-inch 16.7 million colors QVGA TFT display and features 3.15 megapixel camera, mp3 media player, FM Radio, micoSD memory expansion card, EDGE, HSCSD, 3G, Bluetooth with A2DP, WiFi 802.11b/g wireless connection and built-in GPS receiver.
Sporting a sleek stainless steel design with 13.6 mm thickness, the new Nokia E66 mobile phone offers seamless voice and data mobility across GSM cellular network (quad-band GSM 850 / GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900). The WLAN allows Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g wireless network connectivity.
The new Nokia E66 mobile phone is equipped with 2.4-inch (31 x 42 mm) 240 x 320 pixels resolution (TFT) QVGA display capable of displaying massive 16.7 million true colors in a rugged stainless steel frame which has metalic finish borders.
New Nokia E66 mobile phone comes with 110 MB of internal shared memory plus 128 MB SDRAM and handset also supports microSD memory card with maximum of 8-GB of expandable memory to help store large volume of music, videos, and photos.
The new Nokia E66 mobile phone features 3.15 Megapixel digital camera with maximum 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution. The camera also offers 4x digital zoom facility, autofocus and LED flasg and allows full screen viewfinder. The digital camera in Nokia E66 mobilephone is also capable of recording video in QVGA format (320 x 240 pixels) at upto 15 fps with upto 4x digital zoom.
Nokia E66 also sports secondary VGA resolution camera for videocall.
Still pictures are stored in JPEG/EXIF image formats and digital camera allows automatic scene selection including user defined, portrait, landscape, night, and night portrait.
Video playback formats supported includes MPEG-4, .mp4, .3gp, H.263, and H.264.
The Nokia E66 mobile phone also offers integrated MP3 media player which supports MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, H.263, H.264 music file formats.
The Nokia E66 mobilephone also features integrated FM stereo radio with Visual Radio feature and is capable of playing streaming video (3GPP). The FM radio allows 87.5 - 108 MHz frequency range and handset is also equipped with 2.5 mm AV connector supporting custom Nokia headphones.
Supporting Polyphonic and MP3 and ACC ringtones, the Nokia E66 handset allows almost unlimited number phonebook, option for photo call and upto 20 dialed, 20 received, and 20 missed calls record.
For data connectivity, the new Nokia E66 mobile phone offers EDGE (EGPRS) Class 32 with 296 kbps speed, GPRS Class 32 with upto 100 kbps speed connection, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g wireless network connection, 3G functionality (HSDPA) with upto 3.6 Mbps speed (download), Infrared Port IrDA (115 kbps) and USB v2.0 microUSB port.
In addition, Nokia E66 mobile phone also offers built-in Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP connection. 369 MHz AMR 11 Processor powered Nokia E66 mobile phoneis equipped with Symbian OS 9.2 Series 60 v3.1 operating system and it also features built-in Loudspeaker for integrated handsfree speaker, push to talk facility, voice commands and voice recording, Microsoft Document Viewers for word, excell and powerpoint, applications including calender and to-do-list with printing.
The new Nokia E66 also sports built-in GPS receiver with integrated Assisted Global Positioning System (A-GPS) and it comes with pre-installed Nokia Maps application and free downloadable maps of over 100 countries.
The Nokia E66 allows integration to a wide range of corporate business email solutions including Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email and Mail for Exchange to communicate with Microsoft Exchange Server. The E66 mobilephone handset is also capable of integration with corporate telephony systems (PBX) through Nokia Mobile Unified Communications application solutions.
