Sony BDU-X10S Internal Blu-ray Disc BD-ROM Drive

Sony has announced Sony BDU-X10S Internal Blu-ray Disc BD-ROM Drive in India which offers upto 50-GB data storage capacity. The internal SATA interface drive allows easy installation and adds Blu-ray Disc playback in addition to DVD and CD playback - three formats in a single drive.

Sony BDU-X10S Internal Blu-ray Disc BD-ROM Drive comes with Cyberlink PowerDVD BD Edition playback software for playing Blu-ray Disc or DVD Video movies and is fully compatible with all versions of Windows OS including Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Sony BDU-X10S Internal Blu-ray Disc BD-ROM Drive offers 4-MB Buffer and features 2x BD-ROM Read, 24x CD-ROM Read and 8x DVD-ROM Read. It allows upto 150 Mb/Sec transfer rate and offers both horizontal and vertical mount option.

Media & Modes Supported by Sony BDU-X10S Internal Blu-ray Disc includes -BD-ROM1, BDAV, BDMV, BD-R, BD-RE DVD-R/-R DL/-RW, DVD+R/DVD+R DL/+RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-Video CD: CD-DA, CD-ROM (XA), CD Extra, Video CD, Photo CD1, CD Text, multi-session.

The internal Sony BDU-X10S Internal Blu-ray Disc BD-ROM Drive drive allows fast and easy transfer of data or videos through its Serial-ATA (SATA) interface and its standard 5.25-inch form factor making it easier to install in conventional size desktop PCs.
