The new Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 ultra mobile PC (UMPC) is powered by 800 MHz Intel Mobile A110 Processor and it features 5.6-inch WSVGS display, integrated Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g connection, built-in Bluetooth, built-in Fingerprint Sensor and 3-in-1 Digital Media Reader.

Powered by 800 MHz, Intel Mobile A110 processor with 512-KB L2 cache, 400 Mhz FSB, Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 Ultra Mobile PC weighs about 580 gmss with battery pack and it features Intel 945GU Express Chipset motherboard with Intel ICH7U I/O Controller Hub, and offers 512-MB DDDR2 SDRAM (Maximum 1-GB), and 40-GB internal 1.8-inch PATA Ultra DMA 100 (4200rpm) hard disk drive.

The U1010 does not sport any optical drive.

The Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 Ultra Mobile PC is equipped with 5.6-inch 0.3 mm thin WSVGA widescreen TFT display which is powered by Intel Graphics Media Accelerator GMA 945GU Graphics chipset with upto 128 MB shared video memory, supporting Direct X9, Pixelshader 2.0, and DualView monitor, that offers maximum resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

Microsoft Windows XP professional pre-installed Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 ultra mobile PC also sports integrated 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN connection via supplied proprietary cable, integrated Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 a/b/g (802.11a/b/g) connection and integrated Bluetooth v2.0 card for wireless connectivity.

In addition, The Fujitsu Lifebook U1010 laptop integrates both 3.5G and HSDPA, and promises superior Broadband Internet connectivity with a bandwidth of up to 3.6Mbps.

The Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 is claimed to be world�s smallest in its class and it offers ultra slim 0.2 mm aluminum plated full QWERTY keyboard which does not add to the UMPC weight or thickness.

The Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 can be used as hand-held tablet or notebook PC. In addition it has a Palm Resistance touch screen that allows your fingers to do the walking, in the absence of a stylus.

The Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 ultra portable PC comes with several software and utilities including Fujitsu Display Manager, IndicatorUtility, Norton AntiVirus 2007, UpdateAdvisor, Portshutter, SMARTACCESS/Basic, Plugfree NETWORK, and Easy Backup etc.

Other features of Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 ultra portable laptop PC includes 3-in-1 digital medica reader supporting SD, CFI, and CFII media cards, builtin Stereo RealTek ALC862 Speakers, integrated microphone, 2 USB v2.0 ports, and external VGA Monitor connection with maximum resolution of 2048 x 1636 at 75 Hz.

The Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 ultra mobile PC comes with 7.2 V 2600mAh Li-Ion battery offering upto 4.5 hrs of backup using the Intel�s latest Ultra Mobile Platform 2007 technology, which has the lowest power consumption for optimised battery life. In general U1010 takes up 25 percent less power than any compatible 2006 UMPC platform, giving it battery life that extends beyond most devices.
