The new HP Compaq 6710b is a ultra-light professional level business series notebook PC from HP which is powered by 1.80 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7100 and it features 15.1-inch WSXGA+ TFT display, Wireless 802.11 Wi-Fi LAN connection, Biometric Fingerprint sensor and 8X double layer (8.5 GB) DVD writer drive.

There are five quick launch touch sensitive buttons which allows disabling of the touchpad, volume mute, turning on/off wireless, launching a presentation software manager, and launching an HP software utility. The touch sensitive volume control allows volume up and down by simply sliding your finger up or down to control volume.
