Made from highly durable magnesium alloy frame, the new Dell XPS M1530 notebook PC is powere by 1.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5450 with 2-MB L2 Cache, 677 MHz FSB using Santa Rosa chipset Mainboard.
Less than 1-inch thick at the front, Dell XPS M1530 notebook PC features 2-GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz (up to 4-GB DDR2 SDRAM Maximum in 2 slots), a 160-GB Serial-ATA HDD with 5400 rpm and it comes equipped with a slot-loading SuperMulti dual-layer (8.5 GB) DVD writer.
Windows Vista Home Premium Edition preinstalled Dell XPS M1530 notebook PC also sports integrated 8-in-1 card-reader which supports Secure Digital (SD), MultiMediaCard (MMC), Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick PRO (MS PRO), xD-Picture Card (xD), Mini SD, Memory Stick Duo (MS Duo) and Memory Stick Pro Duo (MS Pro Duo).

Weighing just ablut 1.79 Kgs, the new Dell XPS M1530 sports 15.4 inch (39.1 cm) UltraSharp Widescreen WXGA TFT display with TrueLife technology offering maximum of 1280 x 800 pixels screen resolution powered by integrated NVIDIA GeForce Go 8400M GS Graphics chipset with 128-MB dedicated GDDR3 video graphics memory.
Available in Crimson Red or Tuxedo Black colors, the Dell XPS M1530 is equipped with Intel PRO/Wireless 4965 Network 802.11a/g/n connection, integrated 10/100 Fast Ethernet LAN connection and option for an external 56kbps v.92 Fax/Modem card via USB port.
The new Dell XPS M1530 notebook PC comes with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition OS preinstalled and it comes bundled with various legal software including Utility Driver CD, CD Writer Software, and DVD Playback Software.
In front of the Dell XPS M1530 there are three USB v2.0 ports, video HDMI port for HDTV video, dual headphone ports, two microphone ports, and on the right side it sports ExpressCard/54 slot (Media Center remote), wireless on/off switch, slot-loading optical drive bay, one USB port, and security lock slot.
Dell XPS M1530 notebook features standard Wi-Fi Catcher for connecting to a Wi-Fi hotspot and it is done without powering up your notebook. The notebook also featuers standard Hyperband Multi-Antenna which allow strong and clear wireless reception.
The Dell XPS M1530 notebook also features a standard Consumer Infrared port which allows navigate through music, videos, photos remotely with the travel remote control located in the express card slot.
