Acer has introduced its new multimedia desktop PC in India, the Acer Aspire IE-3214, which is powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor and comes with 8X DVD writer and 19-inch Widescreen TFT LCD monitor.
Powered by Intel 1.6 GHz Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor E2140 featuring 1 MB L2 Cache, 800 MHz FSB using Intel 945 GZ chipset motherboard, the Acer Aspire IE-3214 desktop PC offers 512-MB PC3200 DDR2 RAM (667 MHz), expandable to up to 2.0 GB maximum, a 160-GB Serial-ATA @ 7200 rpm hard disk drive, and a integrated 16X Supermulti Double Layer DVD Writer Drive.
The Acer Aspire IE-3214 desktop PC comes with 19-inch (48.26 cm) Widescreen TFT LCD Monitor powered by Intel GMS 950 Graphics chipset with upto 128-MB shared RAM.
For connectivity, Acer Aspire IE-3214 offers 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet LAN connection and 56K ITU V.92 data/fax modem card. The desktop also offers 6 USB v2.0 ports – 2 in front and 4 in the rear part of the CPU cabnet.
