Kodak EasyShare C513 Digital Camera

Kodak has launched its new entry-level digital camera, the Kodak EasyShare C513 which features a 5.0 megapixels still image resolution and it offers 3X optical zoom with 5X continuous digital zoom, an expandable memory card slot and new and innovative CMOS image sensor technology.

kodak-easyshare-c513Equipped with 1/2.5 inch CCD Sensor, the Kodak EasyShare C513 digital camera features 2.4-inch (6.1 cm) wide LCD color display (cum viewfinder), 16 MB internal memory with 10 MB available for picture storage, SD/MMC memory card expansion slot support, and USB v2.0 port.

Weighing about 137 grams without batteries and memory card, the Kodak EasyShare C513 digital camera can capture still pictures in JPEG/EXIF format with maximum 2572 × 1928 pixels resolution (5.0 megapixel).

Other still pictures sizes offered by Kodak EasyShare C513 digital camera includes:

  • 5.0 MP - 2572 × 1928
  • 4.4 MP - 2572 × 1714 in 3:2 aspect ratio
  • 3.1 MP - 2048 × 1536, prints up to 4 × 6 inch (10 × 15 cm)
  • 2.2 MP (1800 × 1200 - in 3:2 aspect ratio
  • 2.1 MP (1920 × 1080 - 16:9 aspect ratio
  • 1.2 MP (1280 × 960, small print and direct email

The new Kodak EasyShare C513 camera is based on the Kodak’s new KAC-05011 CMOS image sensor technology which Kodak claims, delivers amazing image quality and excellent overall performance.

Kodak EasyShare C513 digital camera has dedicated buttons for menu, review, Share, delete, display/info, zoom, 5-way control, (top) power, flash setting, shutter, and mode dial. The camera also offers KODAK Camera Dock/Printer Dock interface and digital USB v2.0 port connection for wired data connection.

Kodak C513 camera is PictBridge enabled and it also offers direct printing to standard KODAK EASYSHARE Photo Printer 500 and IMAGELINK print system.

3X optical zoom lens - 5X digital zoom

Kodak EasyShare C513 digital camera features KODAK AF 3X Optical Aspheric Lens which captures crisp details and offers 3X optical zoom (35 mm equivalent: 36–108 mm) without losing picture quality. In addition, the camera also offers 5X continuous digital with LCD preview in 0.2X increments.

Scene modes offered by Kodak C513 digital camera includes: portrait, night portrait, landscape, sports, snow, beach, text/document, backlight, museum/manner, children, flower, self-portrait, and sunset.

Video Capture

The Kodak C513 digital camera also allows video capture in standard QUICKTIME MOV (MPEG-4) format with audio recording. In addition it also offers video recording in 640×480 VGA resolution at 15 fps, and in 320×240 QVGA resolution at 24 fps, with maximum 80 minutes of continuous recording.

Video print options including 4, 9, or 16 up prints, plus view and share single frames. In addition, the Kodak C653 digital camera allows capturing more video while using less memory with MPEG-4 compression.
